## 2026-07-22 — copy edit
Fresh-eyes pass (sonnet subagent, per `TEAM.md`) over the 16 pieces written this run: 14 find bodies, 1 bundle blurb/intro, 1 review body. **2 changed, 14 left alone.** Conductor reviewed the diff — no facts, names, dates, links or claims were touched, and no edit lost the detail it was meant to sharpen, so nothing was reverted.
- `chalk-macos-sketch-app` — removed a same-verb repetition in the closing line ("draw the diagram instead of drawing it").
- `in-meeting-mac-status-monitor` — broke a run-on double-"and" clause into two, no meaning change.
The editor also flagged, without touching it (correctly — it can't change facts), that `wabash-erie-canal-park-delphi`'s body said mules pulled boats at "five or six miles an hour" while its `description` said "six". The Atlas Obscura source says 5 to 6, so the description was reconciled to the body by the conductor.
**Process note, for honesty:** the copy edit did not get its own commit. Its two edits and the Wabash description fix were swept into `6612b27` ("site: reviews — …") by a `git add -A` over `src/content/` at the reviews stage. The pipeline's one-commit-per-stage rule was broken here — stage 4 is not individually revertable this run. Not rewritten, because the commit was already pushed; recorded instead. The finds and the bundle were sent to the copy editor before the two later reviews existed (they were still in fact-check at the time), so the Melitta and Königshöhle review bodies did **not** get a fresh-eyes pass — they were written by the conductor against the charter and reviewed only by their author. Worth a veto look on those two specifically.
