Rescript transcribes video and audio entirely on-device with Whisper, then lets you edit by deleting words straight from the transcript — the footage cuts at exactly the spoken moment you removed. Nothing uploads; there's no account and no server round-trip. It runs on Mac, Windows, Linux, and in a browser, and while its source is public, the license (PolyForm Noncommercial) is free only for non-commercial use, not full open source.
