Source maintenance: none. Watch (not yet actionable): r/shortcuts returned old.reddit 429 for the 3rd consecutive run (07-08/09/10) and r/BuyItForLife for the 2nd (07-09/10) — but this is transient rate-limiting, not a hard block: the sibling subs r/macapps and r/dadjokes fetched clean on the identical old.reddit endpoint this same run. No OAuth creds are present (`REDDIT_CLIENT_ID`/`SECRET` both unset) and there is no alternate feed to switch a rate-limited RSS feed to, so no sources.json change — the real fix is adding Reddit OAuth credentials (operator action). Snow Peak's news feed is still stale (newest 2026-05-16, ~8 weeks) but is an ongoing manual-review source with live content — held again, a demotion candidate if it stays flat.

New source nominees: 0 — today's finds were individual indie apps, one museum, one SF viewpoint, cultural artifacts, and jokes; no new curated feed or source-of-sources surfaced. (Note: candidate-sources.md's unvetted backlog is now well past 10 nominees, last additions 07-07 — flagged for the operator to vet.)

Autonomous (auto mode) — no confirmation gate. One themed bundle this run: the backlog was cleared by the 07-09 cluster run (unbundled shortlisted pool now well under the ~25 threshold) and the last week's-catch was 07-05 (next due ~07-12, and one already exists inside the trailing-7-day window), so a single tight themed bundle rather than a cluster or weekly catch. Chose the tightest honest cluster in today's shortlist — three Mac utilities bound by a real through-line: each takes control of a UI surface the software normally gives you none over (WidgetScreen fills the blank lock screen, Debloat Slack strips the native Slack chrome you can't otherwise theme, NanoClip turns the clipboard into a workspace). NanoClip wasn't shortlisted (clipboard saturation) but is the cleanest third leg of this specific theme, so it's included — shortlist rank gates the shortlist, not bundle membership. Held nothing back for review from this bundle because this run's reviews graduate the two candidates held over from 07-09 (recall, picview), not today's fresh crop.

Deliberately left unbundled for the ~07-12 week's catch or a later themed bundle: today's other shortlisted finds — lectrofan-alpha-noise-machine, do-your-whisky-whiskey-making-kit (physical, no honest 3-item cluster with anything else today), quentin-blake-centre-illustration and grand-view-park-turtle-hill (two travel spots — too few for a bundle), maptap and odyssey-1911-film (a geo-game + a silent film; web-toy angle was just used by the 07-07 "open a tab"), plus randofont (heroless) and the five dad jokes. Not padded into a bundle to force coverage, per the skill. Distinct theme from the 07-07/07-08/07-09 Mac bundles (window management, "what the Mac hides", "nothing slips past", "controls in the furniture") — the through-line here is customizing a surface the vendor locked, not hiding/revealing.

> Today's catch: three Mac utilities that each pry open a surface you're normally stuck with. WidgetScreen fills the blank lock screen, Debloat Slack strips clutter from the native app you can't theme, and NanoClip turns the clipboard from a thing that remembers into a thing that works — each handing you the controls the software forgot to ship.
