- **No new nominees this run.** The outbound-credit scan across the day's feeds produced nothing reproducible. Two candidate strings appeared in a first broad pass and then failed to reproduce on a targeted re-grep of the same files, so neither was written down — nominating a source this list cannot point back at would be worse than nominating none.
- **Backlog unchanged and still the priority.** Highest-conviction, repeatedly re-surfacing: **The Public Domain Review**, **Michael Tsai**, **MetaFilter**, **Colossal**, **Craig Mod / Ridgeline**, **Nomadico**. 14+ nominees stand unvetted — the ninth consecutive run past the 10+ nudge threshold. Adding any of them to `sources.json` remains a user decision.
- **Related, and more urgent than any nomination:** four existing daily sources (r/macapps, r/shortcuts, r/dadjokes, r/BuyItForLife) are currently dark because `REDDIT_CLIENT_ID` appears to hold an app *name* rather than Reddit's issued client ID — see the 2026-07-22 capture-run entry in `daily-finds.log.md`. Fixing that recovers four sources without vetting anything new.
