Source maintenance: none — sources.json untouched (`updated` unchanged). The four Reddit sources are blocked-pending-oauth (no credentials this run) — environmental, not a config problem, no edit due. Watch (no threshold tripped yet): Roadtrippers feed stale (newest 2026-06-09), Things Magazine stale (newest 2026-06-12), A Continuous Lean stale (newest 2026-06-09 — its notes say seasonal/quarterly, not dead). The Browser feed remains title-only (paywalled picks) — low yield but not blocked.

New source nominees: 2 (see candidate-sources.md) — Michael Tsai's blog (mjtsai.com/blog; recurring "via" credit across Six Colors + Daring Fireball this window) and Quantum of Sollazzo (data/dataviz newsletter, credited by Web Curios). Public Domain Review and Down the Rabbit Hole surfaced again but are already nominated.

Autonomous (auto mode) — no confirmation gate. One themed bundle drawn from today's fresh shortlist. Chose the tightest honest cluster in the day's crop: five things that map something that usually resists a map — David Rumsey's 140k historical maps, Cities and Memory's global sound map, The Quiet Map's live seismic search for Earth's quietest spot, Orbit's AR sky overlay of satellites/debris, and the World Cup data portraits (each match as spatial cartography). world-cup is the loosest fit (data portrait more than literal map) but earns its place as "mapping the shape of a match." Deliberately held today's three review candidates' non-map members out; david-rumsey and cities-and-memory are in the bundle AND graduate to reviews this run (a bundled find whose card links forward to its review is fine). Distinct from prior map/atlas bundles (05-04 "a-small-atlas", "geography-is-the-program") — the through-line here is "mapping the unmappable," not geography per se.

Date-based safety valve (last catch was 07-05; now due). Swept the 8 oldest/strongest still-invisible shortlisted finds from the 07-05..07-11 window (capped at 8 by the skill), favoring the ones that had been unbundled longest so nothing stays invisible for weeks. Backlog note: ~10 more shortlisted-but-invisible finds remain from the window (claymore-3face-mini-area-light, chiptune-radio, kaset, do-your-whisky-whiskey-making-kit, grand-view-park-turtle-hill, lectrofan-alpha-noise-machine, mojave-paint, evergreen-56-dry-box, stacks-hypercard, voicedot) plus today's non-bundled shortlist tail — left for the next themed bundle or catch. No cluster-bundles run this cycle: last cluster run was 07-09 (too recent to re-cluster), and the two bundles here already surface 13 finds.
