macOS gives you one default app per file type, forever, until you dig through Get Info again. FileRouter claims the double-click for the types you hand it and routes by rule instead — filename, extension, parent folder — so Drafts notes open in one editor, blog drafts in another, and a "just peek" opens Marked. It can also open several apps at once, which is the case Get Info has never had an answer for. Mac App Store or direct.
