+**The backlog check fired, so this is a cluster run rather than a single themed bundle.** The unbundled shortlisted pool stood at 32 against the ~25 threshold, having accumulated across the three-day gap since 07-29 plus today's 12. Six clusters take it down to 3 uncovered.

The through-line is transmission failure rather than subject: a codex scraped for parchment that kept its mathematics underneath, a town invented to catch plagiarists that then opened for business, a bridge whose only source is its own plaque, a concession speech its supposed author may have made up years later, and a library of novels nobody expected to be free. Distinct from `2026-07-21-somebody-put-the-whole-of-it-online` (which is about access) because this one is about *accident*.

The skill allows three for a tight theme, and the theme is as tight as it gets — one superlative each, all three visitable, all three hero-bearing. Five items, zero heroes, against a floor of two. This is the same cluster 07-29 held `beakdown` for, and it has got *worse* rather than better: three of today's four Show HN finds landed in it heroless. The cause is structural and now well evidenced — solo browser-toy makers publish a poster as their og image, not a screenshot, and there is no second source to try. **The fix is not another run of waiting.** Either the pipeline starts accepting a clean in-game frame captured some other way, or this theme never ships. Flagging it for an operator call rather than deferring it a third time in silence.
