+Jacques Marie Mage builds the Zéphirin's temple arms from two fused layers of acetate: a tortoiseshell sheet laminated over a clear one. Cut and polished together, the arms read a shade brighter and more translucent than the frame front, a depth effect only lamination gets right, since a single-layer acetate can't fake it. It's a construction detail meant to be noticed only from the side.
