 ## 2026-07-21 — hero corrections (same-run media audit)
 Every hero written this run was opened and looked at rather than trusted on filename and dimensions. Four failed the daily-finds media bar on inspection and were fixed the same run — these are quality errors caught same-day, not rule changes, so the forward-only rule does not apply.
 - **theremin-electronic-diy-kit — hero removed.** The MoMA CDN image is a photograph of the *retail box*, plastered with sales copy ("MUSIC AND SOUND FROM ELECTRIC FIELDS!", "Age 10+", "30 Parts", "No Tools Needed", "3 AA Batteries Included", a choking-hazard warning). That is squarely the "images with marketing/sales overlay text" exclusion. MoMA publishes only that one image for the product, so there is no clean alternative and the find is now heroless. Incidental gain: the box identifies the maker as **MicroKits**, which the listing copy never names.
