description: "An electric microcar inspired by the 1950s Isetta bubble car, entered through a single front-opening door."
---
The Microlino borrows its shape directly from the Isetta bubble cars of the 1950s: a rounded electric microcar you climb into through a single door that swings open at the front, steering column and all. It seats two, tops out around city speeds, and reads less like a cut-rate car than an object worth admiring on its own — the kind of design that gets photographed as often as it gets driven.
